Fish Basket is an instrumental trio from Katowice that combines elements of progressive rock, experimental music, post-rock, and psychedelia in their sound.

The band was formed in 2015, but the current lineup came together in 2018.
Fish Basket Discography
Fish Basket debuted with the album “Fish Basket LP” in 2019, which included 13 compositions. The recordings were made at Green Farm Studio and the band's home studio. Mixing and mastering were done by Rafał Kapusta. The cover art was created by Bogumiła Pepasińska.
At the beginning of 2025, the band released their second album, “Fish Basket and His Second Album,” under the Interstellar Smoke Records label. This time, mixing and mastering were handled by Maciej Karbowski (Nebula Studio). Bozia designed the cover again, and inside, there are illustrations by Agnieszka Lipka and Piotr Wicher. The physical release has a retro children's book aesthetic.
The video for the track “Imaginarium,” released in 2022, has been particularly well-received by fans. Meanwhile, “Cartboard Racer” received an energetic music video in which the band members race in homemade cartboard cars.
Fish Basket Concerts
Fish Basket actively performs live, with shows in Poland and abroad, including Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, and Portugal. The band has shared the stage with artists such as Stoned Jesus, Tides From Nebula, Lipali, VooVoo, Gutek, Koniec Świata, Strachy na Lachy, and Nocny Kochanek. In 2025, Fish Basket and Nene Heroine were invited to join the “Monsters of Jazz Tour” with Pink Freud.
The band also recorded a concert on Piotr Metz's barge - this release is available as “Czarna Barka Live Session” on the band's Bandcamp and YouTube channels.
